BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Oklahoma and started playing bass guitar at 14 years old. I played my first gig at 17 and after 9 years of constant gigging in Oklahoma and the surrounding area, I moved to Hollywood California to attend the Musicians Institute to gain a deep understanding of bass techniques and applied music theory.
After graduating from Musicians Institute, I moved to Texas to established myself in the music community. Living Texas gave me the opportunity to hone my skills in various styles of music including blues, power pop, dance, classic rock, hard rock, funk, and praise and worship.
SESSION PHILOSOPHY
I am well versed in the Nashville numbering system, chord charts, lead sheets, chord substitutions, transcribing, and transposing. I believe the needs of the song determine the equipment used as well as groove and note selection.
COVER MUSIC PHILOSOPHY
I have over 50 years of live music experience and have performed all genres of music. Typically, I will cover arrangements per the original artist but I can also improvise or create original bass lines if so desired. I can also transpose on the spot when necessary. I can also sing backing vocals.
SUMMARY
I recently moved to Northeast Oklahoma to be near my family. I am a team player that values honesty, integrity, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

Available for worship services, outdoor events, corporate parties, recording sessions and other paid performances in the tri-state area.
Rates are $75 per hour local ( i.e., Tulsa) with two hour minimum.
Bass Lessons: $35 per 30 minute session (four session minimum).
